Mother's Day Exploding Box

I made this for my mother for Mother’s Day. I think she didn’t know what it was at first, but once I told her it was like a mini album and that she could add pictures in it or add journal tags with special memories she really liked it. I do hope she will use it. I spent a lot of hours on it J. I used SEI’s Jocelyn paper pack and SU! Chocolate Chip, Tempting Turquoise and Certainly Celery to make the box and all the embellies in it. I loved using a paper pack to make this…it made it soooooo easy!!! Not only that, the SEI paper cuts sooooo well with the Cricut...there was no tearing, no skipping, no snags and it cut all the way through the first time; it was truly like cutting butter!  I will warn you to take care when scoring their glittered papers though; I actually scored right through one of the pages.  I used Tags Bags Boxes and More, Calligraphy Collection, Fabulous Finds, and Sweethearts for all the envelopes.

  1. This is such a labor of love.... where did you get the instructions on how to make this, or did you just come up with it on your on? So beautiful.. I am sure she loved it.

  2. Awesome box!

Haven't seen ya around the MB lately....

  3. I love the paper you chose for this box. They coordinate so well!
